Further Information
The Baden-Wuerttemberg Cooperative State University (DHBW) is the first cooperative state university in Germany that integrates work placements into studies. With more than 34,000 enrolled students and more than 9,000 partner companies, the DHBW is the largest university in the state of Baden-Wuerttemberg. The university is spread across 12 different locations, where each campus specializes in different degree courses.
What makes the DHBW so special is its career-integrated study program, with alternating practical and theoretical phases. Students choose their own partners, sign a three-year contract with them and receive a continuous monthly pay for the entire duration of their studies. This creates a close working relationship between the university and its corporate partners.
With the establishment of the DHBW Center for Advanced Studies (DHBW CAS) in Heilbronn DHBW combines its postgraduate work-study programs under one roof.
The DHBW CAS is located on the Bildungscampus of the Dieter Schwarz Foundation.
The DHBW CAS offers state-of-the-art facilities, including modern classrooms and a well-equipped library, providing students with all the tools and resources they need for academic success. As an active player in shaping the university town of Heilbronn, DHBW CAS is located on a modern campus, which houses various facilities and institutions, all within close proximity to the city center.
