Governance of Social Work

The Master’ in Governance of Social Work study course is the correct course for you when you already hold management, leadership and steering positions in social work institutions and organisations, or would like to assume these roles after your Master's degree.

The degree programme will prepare you for responding to a wide variety of target groups, to be able to recognise their needs and to find practicable solutions. In addition to the identified social needs, you will also be able to consider economic, legal and financial requirements.

The governance approach is considered to be a contemporary concept in social work. It represents a framework concept for the design of social organisations. The study course will enable you to learn about theories of social work and thereby examine them for their suitability in your everyday professional life. You will simultaneously develop high analytical, ethical and practical competences.
